Spring Cool – Cool Days & Cool Nights
8-12 People
Spain Portugal
Golden sunsets over terracotta rooftops, the echo of fado drifting through cobbled lanes, and the fiery rhythm of flamenco beneath starlit skies—Spain and Portugal together weave a journey that feels like stepping into a living painting. Over 11 magical nights, this carefully crafted itinerary takes you across the heart of the Iberian Peninsula, revealing its diverse landscapes, world-class architecture, soulful music, and rich history.
We begin in Barcelona, the Mediterranean jewel where Antoni Gaudí’s genius shines in every corner—from the soaring spires of the Sagrada Família to the whimsical mosaics of Park Güell. Then we travel south to Seville, where Andalusia’s passion is palpable in its golden plazas, grand Cathedral, and vibrant tapas culture. A day trip to Córdoba immerses us in centuries of history at the breathtaking Mezquita and through lanes lined with flower-
filled patios. The journey continues through the Andalusian countryside, where whitewashed villages, dramatic gorges, and timeless hilltop towns transport us deep into Spain’s soul.
Crossing into Portugal, the adventure unfolds in Lisbon, a city spread across seven hills where vintage trams rattle through cobbled lanes, tiled façades shimmer in the sunlight, and the haunting notes of fado tell stories of love and longing. Beyond Lisbon lies the fairytale town of Sintra with its colorful palaces, and the coastal charm of Cascais where the Atlantic meets golden shores. Finally, we arrive in Porto, a riverside city of bridges, azulejo-clad churches, and world-famous port wine, where our journey concludes with the beauty of the Douro River.
This isn’t just sightseeing; it’s a journey rich with immersive, hands-on experiences that connect you to Iberia’s soul. Cook an authentic paella from market to pan, create your own keepsake in a tile-making workshop, and glide along the Douro River on a private cruise. Each moment is designed to go beyond observing—so you live, taste, and feel Iberia in its truest form.
From Barcelona’s creative spirit to Seville’s Andalusian passion, from Lisbon’s soulful fado to Porto’s riverside charm—this voyage captures the essence of Iberia through art, flavour, rhythm, and tradition.

TRAVEL STYLE & LUGGAGE NOTE
- To keep this journey very immersive and with very central stays – for the transport, we’ve chosen to use a mix of comfortable local transfers, high-speed trains, and one scenic intercity bus rather than relying only on private vehicles or flights. This not only allows us to allocate more towards unique experiences and centrally located boutique hotels, but also lets you experience travel the way locals do—adding authenticity and charm to the journey.
- High-Speed Trains: Between cities such as Barcelona–Seville and Lisbon–Porto, we’ll be taking Spain and Portugal’s excellent high-speed trains. These are comfortable, spacious, and allow more luggage allowance compared to low-cost European flights.
- Seville–Lisbon Bus: For this leg, we’ll take a modern, long-distance bus with reclining seats and an onboard toilet. It’s a very comfortable ride for this 6 hour journey and helps us save the cost and hassle of a flight—especially avoiding restrictive baggage rules.
- As this is Europe, please remember that everyone will need to manage their own luggage through stations and hotel lobbies. We strongly recommend bringing only one medium or large suitcase plus one cabin bag (or whatever you can comfortably manage on your own). This will make your travel days smooth and stress-free.
