Georgia
Nestled at the intersection of Europe and Asia, Georgia is a captivating blend of natural landscapes, ancient architecture, vibrant culture, and timeless traditions. From the majestic Caucasus Mountains to lush vineyards and charming historic towns, Georgia’s beauty is as diverse as it is awe-inspiring. At the crossroads of Europe and Asia, Georgia has a history shaped by its location on the Silk Road and its enduring spirit of independence.
The capital, Tbilisi, is a charming blend of the old and the new. The UNESCO World Heritage Sites of the country are some of the most venerated in the world. The snow-capped peaks, lush valleys, and gushing rivers are a call for rejuvenation. The unique millennia-old wine-making traditions and flavourful cuisine will leave one delighted.
Our Georgian trail will start in Tbilisi and take us to Stepantsminda which was formerly known as Kazbegi. A small mountain town in northern Georgia, famed for its breathtaking location in the Greater Caucasus Mountains offering stunning views of Mount Kazbek, one of Georgia’s highest peaks. We will then spend a few days in the picturesque town of Borjomi in the lesser Caucasus mountains before ending our tour in Tbilisi.
