Dreaming of a once-in-a-lifetime winter escape that combines snowy landscapes, charming Nordic towns, the world’s most scenic train ride — and the mystical Northern Lights?
Then pack your thermals and join us in Norway this January, deep in Arctic winter, when the long polar nights give the Aurora Borealis its best stage of the year.
Tromsø, one of the best places on Earth to see the Lights, offers a dramatic Arctic backdrop and a season of dark, clear skies built for chasing them. The solar maximum of this cycle peaked in 2025–26, and while activity is gradually easing, geomagnetic storms strong enough to light up the sky are still very much in play through 2027 — January remains one of the most reliable windows of the year to go looking.
Yes — Norway is one of the most expensive countries in the world, but it also happens to be one of the best places on the planet to witness the Northern Lights. And we believe that some experiences are simply worth it.
We’ve been running this journey since 2017, fine-tuning it every time — and it remains one of our most loved and magical holidays.
This 8-day adventure brings you the very best of Norway in winter — with just the right balance of comfort, culture, and thrilling experiences.
Think scenic rail rides, fjord cruises, your pick of an Arctic morning adventure — reindeer sledding, snowmobiling, or an Arctic road trip — and three dedicated Northern Lights chases.
With cozy 4-star stays, expert guides, seamless logistics, and a warm group of like-minded women, this is a trip you’ll be talking about for years.
