From the winding blue lanes of Chefchaouen to the golden silence of the Sahara, Morocco is a land where every turn feels like a scene from a timeless film. Our journey takes you through imperial cities, mountain passes, ancient kasbahs and desert dunes — with the scent of orange blossom in the air and the sound of market chatter in the background.

In Casablanca, we’ll start where romance and history meet, dining at the iconic Rick’s Café. We’ll wander through Rabat’s seaside kasbahs, lose ourselves in Fes’ medieval medina, and share laughter over a home-cooked meal with a Moroccan family. We’ll ride camels into a desert sunset, glamp beneath a million stars, and wake to the stillness of the dunes.

Morocco’s beauty lies in its variety — and that means distances are long. We believe 10 nights is the minimum time needed to truly experience its contrasts without feeling rushed. Our itinerary has been thoughtfully designed to balance exploration with moments to slow down and absorb the country’s rich culture and landscapes. We’ve included a full day in the Sahara Desert because after the journey to reach it, this extraordinary landscape deserves unhurried time to explore, connect with its nomadic heritage, and simply watch the desert light change.

Towards the end of the journey, we enjoy a relaxed morning in Marrakech, giving you time to revisit a favourite corner of the medina, indulge in a traditional hammam, shop for last-minute treasures, or simply soak in the city’s atmosphere one final time before we make our way to Casablanca. This also provides greater flexibility when planning your onward journey home.

As Morocco involves several long but spectacular overland drives, comfort on the road becomes an important part of the experience. While mid-range transport options in Morocco are often limited to smaller Sprinter-style vehicles, we have chosen to use a full-sized 40-seater coach for most of the journey, giving our small group significantly more space and comfort during the longer drives. The only exception is the final Marrakech–Casablanca transfer, where a Sprinter vehicle is used for convenience.

From the ancient Ksar of Ait Benhaddou to the vibrant souks and gardens of Marrakech, this is more than a trip — it is a sensory tapestry woven from colour, flavour and stories that will stay with you long after you have returned home.

STAYING IN A RIAD

During your time in Morocco, you’ll be staying in a traditional Riad – a charming guesthouse located right in the heart of the medina (old city). Unlike large international hotels, Riads are restored historic homes with an inner courtyard, intricate tilework, and authentic Moroccan architecture.

Please note:

  • Room Sizes – Riad rooms are typically smaller than standard hotel rooms. This is part of their design, as these homes were built around shared courtyards rather than expansive private spaces.
  • Cultural Experience – What you may give up in size, you gain in atmosphere and authenticity. Staying in a Riad allows you to experience the warmth of Moroccan hospitality, traditional décor, and the feeling of being immersed in the medina itself.
  • Location – Riads are usually tucked away inside the old city walls, meaning you’ll step straight out into winding lanes filled with markets, cafés, and everyday Moroccan life.
(we have picked good Riads though!)
