Mongolia
Mongolia’s allure lies in its raw beauty, deep traditions, and the sense of vast openness that offers travellers an escape into a land where nature reigns supreme and nomadic life continues to thrive.
A vacation in Mongolia offers an unparalleled adventure into the heart of Central Asia, where ancient traditions meet vast, untamed landscapes. Known for its boundless steppes, towering mountains, and the iconic pristine Gobi Desert, Mongolia provides a unique opportunity to experience the nomadic way of life that has remained largely unchanged for centuries. The nomadic culture & lifestyle, with its traditional gers (yurts) dotting the steppe, embodies simplicity and harmony with nature. The Naadam Festival and the ancient practices highlight the deep connection between the Mongolian people and their land. Here, beauty is found in vast open spaces where the sky feels endless, in the stillness of its deserts, the warmth of its nomads, and the echoes of history carried by the winds over the steppe. It’s a place where nature reigns supreme and life remains refreshingly simple and profound.
Join us in our nomadic expedition to Mongolia and immerse yourself in vast, untouched landscapes and ancient traditions. We have timed our trip during the Naadam festival – the most important and vibrant sporting and cultural festival of Mongolia that celebrates Mongolian independence, heritage and identity. So that you can experience the true spirit and culture of Mongolia in this trip.
Our trip begins in Ulaanbaatar- the capital city of Mongolia. From here we will embark on a grand Nomadic road trip through the vast and diverse landscape of Mongolia. We will first visit the Khustai National Park to see the wild Takhi horses, then get a dose of Mongolian history in the old capital of Kharakhorum. From Kharakhorum, we will proceed to Orkhon Valley to enjoy alpine valleys and riverside landscapes. Then we will visit the ancient site of Ongii monastery before going further down to the Gobi desert to check out some stunning desert landscapes. From Gobi desert, we will journey to the beautiful Yol Valley (also known as Eagle Valley) while experiencing Naadam ceremonies in the nearby town, before driving back to Ulaanbaatar for our last night.
